We hope that this season has been all that you have wished for. Now, onto New Year's.

Come January 1st, many people compile a list of resolutions that they hope to follow through with throughout the year. Time Magazine compliled a list of the top 10 commonly stated New Year's resolutions.

  • Spend More Time with Family
  • Travel to New Places
  • Be Less Stressed
  • Volunteer
  • Drink Less

Wanting to improve ourselves is great--we get to feel better about ourselves, become more outgoing, and enjoy life a little bit more. But learning about ourselves, accepting our "flaws", discovering new places, things, food, clothes, friends, family, etc., is what enables us to grow as humans. These resolutions all pertain to Maslow's heirarchy of needs--self actualization. But, Priscilla Presley said it best with, "Inner beauty should be the most important part of improving one's self".
